ORDER

Heard both sides.

2.The petitioner feels aggrieved by the revision of property tax. According to the petitioner, the property tax has been steeply enhanced and he wants to be placed on bar with the adjacent land owners. He has given a representation in this regard and he wants the Commissioner to consider the same.

3.When the petitioner has been visited with an adverse revision order, the remedy open to the petitioner is to file an appeal before the Tax Appellate Committee. The petitioner is given liberty to avail such remedy.

4.The learned counsel for the petitioner states that such an appeal will be filed within 4 weeks. If such an appeal is filed, it shall be entertained by the appellate committee without reference to any limitation and disposed of on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six months thereafter.
