W.P(MD)NO.26850 of 2019 2.The Writ Petition was filed in the year 2019. When the Writ Petition is taken up for hearing today, Mr.B.Saravanan, learned Counsel appearing for the first respondent/The State Election Commissioner and Mr.Veerakathiravan, learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the second respondent submitted that for the very same relief, a Writ Petition has been filed before the Honourable Supreme Court of India and the Honourable Apex Court, by its order, dated 28.09.2021, granted four months time to the respondents to conduct the Local Body Election to the Corporation and Municipality.
3.Since, the Honourable Apex Court had already granted four months time to the respondents to conduct the election, no further direction need be issued to the respondents.
