2. The petitioner is the father of the detenue. The petitioner had stated that his son who is a software engineer got married to the third respondent without being aware of the fact that she was already a married person. Finding that his son is missing, the petitioner filed this HCP. The jurisdictional Police contacted the detenue through whatsapp video call. In fact, the mobile phone number of the detenue was furnished by the petitioner himself. The detenue was also duly identified by the second respondent. We had an interaction with him. He informed us that he is presently at Chennai and that since his father is angry with him, he is not in a position to contact him. We are fully satisfied that this is not a case of illegal detention. The detenue is very much safe. 2/4
