PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records of the first respondent inviting Short Tender dated 15.05.2017, qusah the same and consequently, directing the respondent to consult experts such as Central Food Technical Research Institute (CFTRI) or Defence Food Research Laboratory (DFRL) for deciding the method of procurement and terms of the tender and on finalization of such method of procurement and the terms of the tender, the same may be submitted for scrutiny of this Court and thereupon fresh tenders may be invited and finalized by the Government for procurement of dhal for distribution under the Public Distribution System. ORDER

Challenging the tender notification issued in the year 2017, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

2.When the writ petition is taken up for hearing today, learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the relief sought for has become infructuous and nothing survives for further adjudication. He has also made an endorsement to that effect.

In view of the above submission and the endorsement so made, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Index :
