This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of Mandamus directing the third respondent to complete the departmental proceedings pending against the petitioner and direct the respondents to disburse the retirement benefits like the Death cum Retirement Gratuity, General Provident Fund and the Encashment of Earned leave within the time stipulated by this Court. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Standing counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that during the pendency of the writ petition, the disciplinary proceedings are completed and punishment was also imposed.

3. In view of the above, nothing survives in this writ petition for adjudication. Hence, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
