This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents to provide pension, for the service rendered as Conductress from 01.12.1976 to 30.07.2009 at the Panchayat Union Primary School, Veerasigamani, Sankarankovil Panchayat Union, Tirunelveli District, along with arrears of pension with current rate of interest .

2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner was appointed as Conductress at the Panchayat Union Primary School, Sankarankovil Panchayat Union, Tirunelveli District, on 01.12.1976 and she was retired from service on 30.07.2009. However, the pension was not paid to the petitioner. Hence, she has made a representation to the respondents 2 and 3, on 16.12.2016. But, till date no order was passed. Therefore, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition with the aforesaid prayer.

3. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the petitioner has received a sum of Rs.9,92,534/- for retirement benefits and the pension proposal was prepared and sent to Director of Local Fund Audit, Chennai, by proceedings dated 15.06.2017.

4. In view of the above compliance, this Writ Petition is dismissed. However, if the petitioner has any grievance, she is at liberty to work out her remedy, in the manner known to law. No costs.
