This writ petition is filed by the Tamil Nadu Cements Corporation Ltd, Virudhunagar, as against the order passed by the Assistant Commissioner of Labour, Controlling Authority Under Payment of Gratuity Act/the first respondent herein, dated 11.01.2017. 2.Today(08.08.2024), when this writ petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent submits that the terminal benefits for a sum of Rs.7,98,233/- has already been paid to the second respondent on 03.03.2021, vide Cheque No.993371, dated 02.03.2021. He has also placed a copy of the letter, dated 03.03.2021, along with a copy of the Cheque before this Court. 3.Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, this writ petition is closed.
