3. The case of the Writ Petition is that the petitioner's father died on 15.11.1996 and therefore, his younger brother has submitted an application, seeking appointment on compassionate ground on 22.02.1997. But, the petitioner's brother unfortunately died on 25.04.1997.
4. The claim of the petitioner is that, he had submitted an application seeking compassionate ground on 03.02.1999 with consent of his mother. The petitioner has completed Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering, after completing 10th Standard. The petitioner sought for an appointment based on his qualification, however, the respondents have rejected the claim of the petitioner stating that he has not completed 12th standard. The respondents have rejected since the petitioner has not required qualification as 10 + 2 -13. Subsequently, the petitioner has qualified 12th Standard and also completed B.Com in the year 2009. By this time, the petitioner's age was barred, otherwise the petitioner is over aged. The respondent has rejected the petitioner's claim stating that the petitioner's qualification is over for the post of News 3/6
Reporter. After acquiring the qualification the petitioner is over aged. The petitioner has agitated his claim in the year 2006.
5. Since it is beyond the period of three years from 1997 and the petitioner is also over aged hence, this Court is not inclined to grant an appointment to the petitioner on compassionate ground as prayed for in the Writ Petition.
6. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No Costs. Index : Yes / No 20.10.2022 Internet : Yes ksa 4/6
