ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed by a Senior Superintendent, who had attained superannuation on 30.06.2017 from the respondent Transport Corporation. The retirement benefits were disbursed to the writ petitioner only on 21.02.2023. Hence, he has sent a representation on 25.09.2023 seeking interest for the belated payment of Surrender Leave Salary.

2. In view of the above said facts, the second respondent herein is directed to consider the representation of the writ petitioner, dated 25.09.2023 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight

(8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. With the above said observation, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
