ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to direct the respondent herein to conduct the investigation and file the final report in Crime No.27 of 022 on the file of the respondent Police within stipulated time fixed by this Court.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that when the accused was moving for anticipatory bail, the matter was referred to mediation and the mediation ended in failure.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent police registered an FIR in Crime No.27 of 2022. He would further submit that five witnesses have already been examined and the investigation is in progress. Hence, he seeks further three months time to file charge sheet before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court. 2/4

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file charge sheet in Crime No.27 of 2022 before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
