2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner would submit that the writ petitioner was reported dead and his legal representatives are not interested in proceeding with the matter.

3. At this juncture, the learned counsel appearing for the first respondent would submit that Rs.17 lakhs is still due.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed as abated. 2/4

The first respondent is at liberty to recover the amount in accordance with law. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs.
