ORDER

Today, this matter has been listed under the caption "for reporting compliance".

2. By an order of this Court dated 18.11.2024, the petitioner was granted with the relief of suspension of sentence on conditions. One of the conditions is that the 1/3

petitioner was directed to deposit 50% of the compensation amount in two equal installments i.e. a sum of Rs.1,25,000/- (Rupees One Lakh and Twenty Five Thousand only) to the credit of C.C.No.54 of 2021 on the file of the District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Vedasandur, Dindigul District on or before 16.12.2024, and the petitioner was also directed to deposit another sum of Rs.1,25,000/- (Rupees One Lakh and Twenty Five Thousand only) to the credit of C.C.No.54 of 2021 on the file of the District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Vedasandur, Dindigul District on or before 10.01.2025, failing which, the sentence suspended will be dismissed automatically.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing on 17.12.2024, the learned counsel for the petitioner has produced a memo, along with a copy of foil, stating that the petitioner has deposited a sum of Rs.1,25,000/- (Rupees One Lakh and Twenty Five Thousand only) on 16.12.2024. The said memo was recorded, and the matter has been adjourned to 20.01.2025 for reporting compliance for the deposit of another installment of Rs.1,25,000/- (Rupees One Lakh and Twenty Five Thousand only).

4. When the matter is taken up for hearing today (20.01.2025), the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that in pursuant to the order of this Court dated 18.11.2024, the petitioner has deposited another sum of Rs.1,25,000/- (Rupees One Lakh and Twenty Five Thousand only) on 08.01.2025 to the credit of C.C.No.54 of 2021 on the file of the Additional District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, 2/3
