O R D E R
This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the impugned order dated 24.04.2015, passed by the first respondent, rejecting the petitioners' request for being appointed to the post of Junior Assistants in the first respondent University by considering their past services.

It is brought to the notice of this Court by learned counsel appearing for the petitioners that a similar Writ Petition was filed by similarly placed persons before this Court in W.P.(MD).No.22212 of 2016 and by an order dated 07.02.2023 passed in the said Writ Petition, another learned Single Judge of this Court quashed a similar impugned order and directed the first respondent to consider the case of the petitioners therein in accordance with the Rules and Regulations by taking into consideration of their eligibility and pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of that order.

3. As seen from the affidavit filed in support of this Writ Petition, the petitioners are also similarly placed persons as that of the petitioners in W.P. (MD).No.22212 of 2016.
4. Since they are similarly placed persons, the same order has to be passed in this Writ Petition as well.

Accordingly, the impugned order dated 24.04.2015, passed by the first respondent, is hereby quashed and this Writ Petition is disposed of, by directing the first respondent to consider the same in accordance with the Rules and regulations, by taking into consideration their eligibility and pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioners' request for being appointed as Junior Assistants in the first respondent University, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
