Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to pay interest at the rate of 18% per annum, for the period of delay from 31.03.2015 to 10.06.2016 in paying the amounts paid towards the terminal benefits within a time frame as may be fixed by this Court.

ORDER

The petitioner herein had already approached this Court in W.P.(MD)No.19584 of 2015 and this Court had also ordered for payment of interest on belated settlement of terminal benefits at the rate of 6%. As such, the present claim of interest once again at the rate of 18% cannot be sustained. Hence the Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs.
