O R D E R

This Writ Petition is filed seeking a Mandamus as against the respondent No.1 to provide relief under the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Accident Relief fund to the petitioner by considering her representation dated 28.09.2023.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner's husband died in a road accident, which was occurred on 06.07.2023. Hence, the petitioner made a representation on 28.09.2023, seeking to grant exgratia amount under the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister's Accident Relief Fund. Since the same was not considered till date, the petitioner has approached this Court.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner dated 28.09.2023 would be considered in accordance with law.

4. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the first respondent to consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 28.09.2023 2/4

on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
