[Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.] The relief sought for in the present writ petition is absolutely misconceived. Documents registered under the Registration Act, 1908 cannot be cancelled by issuing a direction in a writ proceedings. Once the documents are registered, certain rights are created and therefore, the parties are bound to redress their grievance in the manner contemplated under law.
2. Granting liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. [S.M.S., J.] [S.S.Y., J.] 15.07.2025 Index:Yes/No Internet:Yes/No NCC:Yes/No abr 3/5
