PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Certiorari, calling for the records relating to the proceedings of the Impugned Order in G.U. PCE/Staff/Proce./01/2016-17 dated 30.03.2017 on the file of the 5th Respondent and quash the same.

ORDER
This writ petition is filed challenging the impugned termination order, dated 30.03.2017.
2. Pending writ petition, the petitioner was directed to approach the Pondicherry University and obtain a qualification letter to ascertain the genuineness of the M.Tech. Through, proceedings, dated 07.03.2023, the Pondicherry University has stated that degree certificate was issued under the signature of the Registrar and Vice Chancellor of the University. Moreover, it certifies that the student has completed the course in the year December 2008.
3. However it is seen that the petitioner has left the service 2/7
from the respondent institution and joined another service and is continuing in the said service. Therefore, nothing survives for adjudication.
4. The respondent has raised an apprehension that the petitioner would claim any benefits from them. However, in the facts and circumstances this Court is not inclined to grant any benefits to the petitioner. More so the petitioner shall not make any claim against the 5th respondent.
5. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. Index : Yes / No 12.04.2023 Internet : Yes ksa 3/7

Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing under the caption "For Being Mentioned", the learned counsel Mr.A.Rajesh for Mr.T.Cibichakraborthy pointed out that the learned counsel appearing for the respondents 4 and 5 is Mr.T.Cibi Chakraborthy. But the name of the counsel for the respondents 4 and 5 is wrongly mentioned as Mr.N.Pragalathan in the order dated 12.04.2023 in W.P.(MD).No.10774 of 2017.
2. Accordingly, the submission of the learned counsel is accepted and accordingly the name of the learned counsel for the respondents 4 and 5 shall be corrected as Mr.T.Cibi Chakraborthy instead of Mr.N.Pragalathan in the order dated 12.04.2023 in W.P.(MD).No.10774 of 2017.
3. Registry is directed to carry out the aforesaid correction in the order dated 12.04.2023 in W.P.(MD).No.10774 of 2017 and issue fresh order copy to the parties.
