O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 29.10.2024, based on the proceedings of the second respondent in Na.Ka.No.13469/2007/C3 dated 13.02.2008 and consequently grant patta to the petitioner for the land in Re-Survey No. 104, now T.S.No.109, situated at Ponmeni Village, Madurai West Taluk, Madurai District, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that though the second respondent, in the earlier proceedings in Na.Ka.No. 13469/2007/C3 dated 13.02.2008, ordered issuance of patta in respect of the subject property, no patta has been issued and therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 29.10.2024 seeking issuance of patta based on the said proceedings, but the same has not been considered. 3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that the petitioner's representation dated 29.10.2024 would be considered and appropriate orders would be passed by the second respondent within a period of sixteen weeks.

4. Recording the above submission and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 29.10.2024 and pass appropriate orders on its merits and in accordance with law within a period of sixteen weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The second respondent is also directed to provide a reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and any other interested parties who may be affected by such decision, before passing any order.
