ORDER

The petitioner has made an application for the benefits under the Moovalur Ramamirtham Ammaiyar Ninaivu Marriage Assistance Scheme as per GO.Ms.No. 43 Social Welfare and Nutritious Meal Programme Department, dated 17.05.2011 and has filed this writ petition for a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to provide the marriage assistance as per the scheme. 2.When this writ petition was taken up for hearing, there is no representation for the petitioner.

3.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that this petitioner's father was a government employee, who served as a Noon Meal Organiser and also retired from service. Since the father of the petitioner is getting special pension of Rs.1500/- per month from 01.07.2011, the 2/4

petitioner is not entitled for the benefits as per GO.Ms.No.43 and therefore, the request of this petitioner was considered and it was rejected by order dated 11.01.2018.

4.This writ petition has been filed for a mandamus and it is now reported that the petitioner's request was already rejected by order dated 11.01.2018. In view of the subsequent developments, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
