ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to conduct enquiry and dispose the proceedings in C.No. 243/DCB/DSP/TRI/2024 dated 28.06.2024 within time frame fixed by this Court.

2.The contention of the petitioner is that the petitioner had lodged a complaint before the respondent police on 27.06.2024 and thereafter the petitioner was called for enquiry and the petitioner appeared on 05.07.2024 and gave details. Thereafter again the petitioner was called for enquiry and the petitioner was not called for enquiry and he was not aware what steps have been taken in his complaint, hence the present petition has been filed.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the dispute is between the petitioner and the third respondent with regard to money transactions between them. The third respondent was earlier taken as a partner and later he was relieved. During the partnership period there was some misappropriation. It is only a dispute between the 2/4

petitioner and the third respondent and therefore the respondent police closed the complaint on 18.10.2024.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor undertakes that the copy of the closure report would be served on the petitioner.

5. In view of the same, the Writ Petition stands dismissed. However the petitioner is at liberty to work out his legal remedy in the manner known to law. No costs.
