O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondent police to investigate the complaint registered in Cr.No.573 of 2018 regarding the missing of the petitioner's father aged about 60 years.

2. According to the petitioner, his father came to Trichy from Chennai on 09.10.2018 to see him when he was studying Engineering course at Trichy, but he did not reach Trichy and gone missing. In this regard, he gave a complaint on 13.10.2018 to the respondent police, but the police has not taken any action inspite of registering the complaint in Cr.No. 573 of 2018.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents states that intensive search of the missing person been done, but so far, they are not get any clue inspite of examining 21 witnesses. In future, if they get any clue, the same will be passed on the petitioner herein and as soon as the missing person is https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P(MD)No.19223 of 2019 secured the same will be reported. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor assures that investigation is alive.

4. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent police to intensify the investigation and as soon as they get any information about the missing person to convey the same to the petitioner herein and proceed further.
