Prayer in Crl.OP(MD)No.16318 of 2024:- Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 528 of BNSS, to direct the learned Special Judge for Trial of Cases under SC/ST (POA)Act, Sivagangai District to dispose of the bail application to be filed by the petitioner on merits on the same day of their surrender before the above mentioned Court in pending investigation of Crime No.114 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police.

ORDER:- This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition coming up for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.M.Mohanasundaram, Advocate for the Petitioner and of Mr.K.Sangai Gandhi, Government Advocate (Criminal Side) for the Respondents 1 & 2, this Court made the following order:- "This petition has been filed seeking extension of time to surrender of the petitioner before the Special Court for SC/ST (POA) Act, Sivagangai District, as ordered by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.16318 of 2024. 2.The learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner could not surrender before the concerned Court within the stipulated time as prescribed by this Court.

3.Considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this petition is allowed and time is extended bytwo weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. It is made clear that no further extension will be granted."
