Mr.M.Rajarajan, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondent.

2. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The writ petition has been filed by the petitioner praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent herein to issue legal heir certificate to the petitioner by considering the petitioner's online application No.TN-720190606337, dated 06.06.2019.

4. The case of the petitioner is that his daughter namely Mariammal passed away on 10.10.2017 and her husband had also passed away twenty years back and there were no issues to them and hence, the petitioner applied for legal heir certificate through online on 06.06.2019, which is said to be still pending and therefore, the petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking the afore said https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, the respondent is directed to consider the on-line application of the petitioner in Application No.TN-720190606337 dated 06.06.2019 and pass appropriate orders on the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of three weeks.

6. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No Costs.
