PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Cr.No.290 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police. ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence under Sections 85, 115(2), 351(3) and 49 of BNS (hereinafter referred to as new penal code) and Section 4 of TNPHW Act in Crime No.290 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the issue involved in the present case is a matrimonial dispute between the first petitioner and the defacto complainant. 3.Taking into consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering that a matrimonial dispute is involved in this case and custodial interrogation may not be required in this case, the respondent Police is directed to follow the procedure adumbrated under Section 35 of BNSS Act.

4.Accordingly, this criminal original petition is disposed of with the above direction.
