Read this order in continuation of and in conjunction with the order dated 24.10.2025, which reads as follows: "Mr.G.Karthik, learned counsel appearing for the caveator/writ 2/5
petitioner/R1, circulates a copy of the order passed in W.A(MD)No.173 of 2024 filed by the Fit person of Arulmighu Valagurnathasamy Angala Eswari Thirukkovil, Koilpulikuthi, Sattur Taluk, Virudhunagar District, who sought intervention by grant of leave in that Writ Appeal. The said Writ Appeal has been allowed, setting aside the order passed by the Joint Commissioner in O.A.No.3 of 2018 on 02.02.2023. 2.Mr.Karthik states that pursuant thereto, the Joint Commissioner has heard the matter afresh, (renumbered as O.A.No.33 of 2023) and disposed the same on 25.03.2024. A copy of that order has not been produced before us. Thereafter, a contempt petition was also filed by the Joint Commissioner and as against the same, L.P.A(MD)No.5 of 2024 has been filed at the instance of the Joint Commissioner, which is also pending before this Court. 3.
In fact, Mr.Madhavan, learned counsel for the appellants, who appears before us, had also appeared in W.A(MD)No.173 of 2024, but does not appear to be aware of the above developments and is taken by surprise by the submissions of Mr.Karthik. 4.Let a copy of the order passed in the said O.A be supplied in order to ascertain whether at all anything survives in this Writ Appeal.
5.List on 05.11.2025 along with L.P.A(MD)No.5 of 2024. Mr.Karthik, shall supply the set of papers to the other side." 2.Copy of the order dated 25.03.2024 passed by the Joint Commissioner/R3 in writ appeal, hearing the appellants as well as the private respondents, has been produced before us. The private respondents are aggrieved by that order and seek liberty to challenge the same in accordance with law and and they are so permitted. 3.With the passing of the order dated 25.03.2024, we are of the considered view that nothing survives in either the present writ appeal or the letters patent appeal.

4.As far as the letters patent appeal is concerned, the learned counsel for the private respondent undertakes that contempt petition will itself be withdrawn as infructuous and this is recorded. 5.Hence and having regard to the order dated 25.03.2024, both the writ appeal and the letters patent appeal are closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
