ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence under Sections 406, 498(A) and 120(b) of IPC in Crime 1/3

2. The case of the prosecution is that there was a matrimonial dispute between the petitioners and the defacto complainant. Based on the complaint, the respondent Police has registered a case in Crime No.13 of 2024. There are totally five accused persons, whose name has been included in the FIR. 3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent. 4.Taking into consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering that matrimonial dispute is involved in this case and custodial interrogation may not be required in this case, the respondent Police is directed to follow the procedure adumbrated under Section 35 of BNSS Act. 5.Accordingly, this criminal original petition is disposed of with the above direction.
