Heard both sides.

2.The petitioner seeks modification in the legal heir certificate issued by the second respondent herein.

3.The learned Special Government Pleader informs the Court that the jurisdictional Revenue Divisional Officer is competent to go into the issue raised by the petitioner herein. The petitioner has given objection before the first respondent. It has been forwarded to the Revenue Divisional Officer, Trichy. It is stated that notice has been issued for holding enquiry on 09.11.2023. The petitioner shall appear before the jurisdictional Revenue Divisional Officer on the said date and place all the materials. The Revenue Divisional Officer, Trichy shall pass an 2/4

appropriate order on merits and in accordance with law by taking note of the materials to be furnished by the petitioner. Final order shall be passed within a period eight weeks thereafter. 4.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
