O R D E R

This Writ Petition is filed seeking a Mandamus as against the respondents 2 and 3 to remove the water pipeline which was erected by the 3rd respondent within the petitioner's patta land in S.Nos 917 and 918 of Koodankulam Village, Radhapuram Taluk, Tirunelveli District, based on the petitioner's representation dated 30.08.2023 and 04.09.2023, within the stipulated period.

2. It is the grievance of the petitioner that the 3rd respondent has erected a pipeline in the petitioner's patta land. Hence, the petitioner made a representation on 04.09.2023 to the respondents, seeking to take steps to remove the water pipeline from his land. Since the same was not considered till date, the petitioner has approached this Court.

3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner dated 04.09.2023 would be considered in accordance with law. 2/4

In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the respondents to consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 04.09.2023 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
