ORDER

This Writ Petition had been filed challenging the impugned order dated 12.04.2017, passed by the second respondent and to quash the same.

2. It is submitted by the learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent that the short levy claim against the petitioner company based upon the Audit slip issued by the Audit pending this Writ Petitioner Company was liquidated and thereafter, the properties of the petitioner Company was sold under the Companies Act and the subsequent purchasers had remitted the short levy demand made against the petitioner.

3. According to him, in view of the said fact, no further claim is made. In such view of the matter, no further adjudication is required to be made and accordingly, the same stands closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. Index : Yes / No 28.11.2024 Internet : Yes / No gba 2/4
