Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, to direct the third respondent herein to fill up the existing any vacancy of post in the Adi Dravidar and Tribunal Welfare Department on the basis of the second respondent proceedings Na.Ka.Pa.1/30373/2016 dated 18.09.2017 and G.O.Ms.No.188 dated 28.12.1976 with all consequential benefits from the date of acquisition of the petitioner's agricultural land in accordance with law.

ORDER

By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 2.In view of the gift of lands to the Government, the petitioner sought for employment opportunity with the respondents, which has been favorably considered by the Principal Secretary, Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare Department, who in turn had recommended to the District Collector to consider the petitioner's case for employment. Consequentially, the second respondent herein through his proceedings in Na.Ka.No.1/30373/2016, dated 18.09.2017 had directed the third respondent to appoint the petitioner in any vacancy that may be available with them. In this connection, the petitioner has made a representation dated 03.09.2019 to the first https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD) No.26955 of 2019 respondent herein. It is brought to the notice of this Court that both the Principal Secretary to the Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare Department and District Collector have favorably recommended the petitioner's case seeking for employment and that the matter under consideration with the third respondent herein, it would be appropriate to direct the third respondent to take further action on the proceedings of the Collector, dated 18.09.2017. 3.In the light of the above observations, the petitioner is granted opportunity to make a fresh representation to the third respondent ventilating his grievances and on receipt of the same, the third respondent shall consider the same in the light of the observations made above as well as the proceedings of the District Collector in Na.Ka.No.1/31373/2016 dated 18.09.2017 and take appropriate action atleast within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
