This Writ Petition has been filed to quash the impugned order in Na.Ka.No. 10-1/2016/A7 dated 16.06.2017 on the file of the second respondent, transferring the petitioner from Nagercoil to Senji Town Panchayat, Villupuram District, Cuddalore Zone.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today (ie., 08.08.2022), the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 submitted that the petitioner retired on attaining the age of superannuation on 31.03.2018. He further submitted that at the time of filing this petition, the petitioner was 58 years old.

3.In view of the above, nothing survives for further adjudication in this writ petition and the same is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, the connected writ miscellaneous petitions are closed. 08.08.2022 Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes / No vsg To:
