ORDER:- This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and upon hearing the arguments of M/s. C. Suresh Kannan, Advocate for the Petitioner and of Mr. M. Muthumanikkam, Government Advocate for the 1st & 2nd respondents, this Court made the following order: "The above petition has been filed to extend the time in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.18891 of 2022 dated 04.11.2022 for surrender before 1/3

the learned Sessions Judge, Special Court for trial of SC/ST (POA) Act Cases, Srivilliputhur at Virudhunagar District.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner could not surrender before the concerned Court within the stipulated time as prescribed by this Court.

3. Considering the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the petitioner is granted 10 days extra time from the date of receipt of a copy of this order to surrender before the learned Sessions Judge, Special Court for trial of SC/ST (POA) Act Cases, Srivilliputhjr at Virudhunagar District. On such surrender the learned Sessions Judge is directed to consider the same as per law."
