Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, direct the respondents to consider and pass appropriate orders upon the representation of the petitioner dated 24.07.2025 and to direct the respondents to release a sum of Rs.12,00,000/- (Rupees Twelve Lakhs only) along with 12% interest per annum from 04.12.2021 till this date to the petitioner within a stipulated time fixed by this Court.

ORDER

Heard both sides.

2.The writ petitioner had carried out the petition mentioned contract. However, his bill was not settled. Hence, this writ petition came to be filed.

3.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate on written instructions submitted that a sum of Rs.12,00,000/- (Rupees Twelve Lakhs only) shall be paid to the writ petitioner within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If the bill amount is paid within the aforesaid time, it will not carry interest.
