Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to remove the Crime No.136/2024 on the file of the 3rd respondent office in petitioner's son namely Ajin, son of Ramesh, police verification report based on the petitioner's representation dated 27.05.2025 within a stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court.

ORDER

The petitioner has sought for a direction to the respondents to remove the record relating to Crime No.136 of 2024 in Crime and Criminal Tracking Network and Systems (CCTNS).

2. According to the petitioner, an FIR was initially lodged against him and his son, which ended in filing of final report and the same was quashed pursuant to a compromise.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor confirms the said fact and submits that the record would be deleted from CCTNS within a period of ten

(10) days from today.

4. Recording the above submission, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
