O R D E R

The petitioner/wife, who is facing the proceedings for divorce under Section 13(1)(i-a) of the Hindu Marriage Act in H.M.O.P.No.141 of 2019 before the Sub Court, Karur, seeks transfer of the same to the Sub Court, Tambaram on the ground of convenience.

2. According to her, she is a Resident Medical Officer at National Institute of Siddha, Tambaram and hence she cannot travel to Karur for every hearing of the said HMOP. The husband who is also a Siddha Doctor is admittedly working at Salem.

3. Considering the convenience of the parties and the fact that both the parties are qualified Siddha Physicians, I am of the considered opinion that the proceedings in H.M.O.P.No.141 of 2019 can be transferred to a place in-between the Salem and Tambaram so that inconvenience caused to both parties can be minimized. In view of the same, this Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is allowed and the proceedings in H.M.O.P.No.141 of 2019 is withdrawn from the file of the Sub Court, Karur and transferred to the file of Sub https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Tr.C.M.P(MD)No.534 of 2019 Court, Ulundurpet. The Sub Court, Karur is directed to transmit the papers to the Sub Court, Ulundurpet forthwith. However, there will be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
