PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to dispose of the appeal, dated 23.04.2024 within the time stipulated by this Court and pass such further or other orders as this Court.

ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to direct the first respondent to dispose of the appeal, dated 23.04.2024 within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. Considering the fact that the appeal against the order of punishment the petitioner filed an appeal before the first respondent as early as on 23.04.2024 and that the appeal filed by the petitioner is pending with the first respondent, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the appeal on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. The writ petition stands disposed of with the above direction. There shall be no order as to costs.
