The petitioner for want of patta in respect of Survey No. 41/2, admeasuring 5 1⁄2 cents, Vakkanankundu Village, Kariyapatti Taluk, Virudhunagar District submitted a representation to the Tahsildar, Virudhunagar District and has also approached this Court in the year 2017 for a Mandamus.

2.On 08.06.2023, when this writ petition was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner died and sought time for impleading the legal heirs of the petitioner. Accordingly, the matter was ordered to be listed today(16.06.2023).
3.Today(16.06.2023), the learned counsel submits that it is difficult for him to contact the legal heirs of the petitioner. 4.In view of the submission made by the petitioner's counsel, this writ petition is closed with a liberty to the legal heirs of the petitioner, if any, to submit a fresh representation to the fourth respondent. If any such representation is made, the same shall be considered on its own merits. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
