PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus forbearing the Respondents from in any manner interfering with the peaceful possession and enjoyment of the petitioner's property comprised in Survey Nos.93/2C and 93/1B3 situated at VeeriyankottaiI Village, Peravurani Taluk, Thanjavur District based on the representation given by the petitioner dated 23.04.2025.

ORDER

On the apprehension that the petitioner's peaceful possession and enjoyment of the property described in the writ petition would be interfered with for purposes of issuing free house site patta, the present writ petition has been filed.

2.Learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. He has placed on record the written instructions received from the jurisdictional Tashildar to the effect that there is no proposal to provide free house site patta in relation to the petitioner's property. In view thereof, the petitioner's apprehension stands allayed.

3.By recording the same, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected writ miscellaneous petition is also closed. 09.09.2025 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes/No Internet: Yes/No RJR 2/3
