O R D E R
This petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct respondent police to complete the investigation of the case in F.I.R.No.457 of 2022 on the file of the second respondent and to submit the final report, within the period stipulated by this Court.
2. According to the petitioner, he is the defacto complainant in this case and based on his complaint, F.I.R in Crime No.457 of 2022 has been registered for the offences under Sections 448, 324 and 506(2) of IPC. Thereafter, no proper investigation has been conducted and so far, not filed any final report. Hence, he has filed this petition.
3. The Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, F.I.R has been registered in Crime No.457 of 2022 and now, the case is pending for investigation. They will complete the investigation within one month.
4. The prayer of the petitioner is to direct the respondent police to file the final report. Though the F.I.R has been registered in the year 2022, Page No. 2 of 4
still the respondent police have not completed the investigation. However, the learned Government Advocate has assured to complete the investigation and file the final report within one month. In view of the same and recording the submission of the learned Government Advocate, this Court directs the second respondent to complete the investigation and file the final report within one month from the date of this Order.
5. With the above said direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
