ORDER

This writ petition is filed to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records pertaining to the impugned order in Na.Ka.No.36747/2022/H2 dated 17.04.2025 issued by the 1st Respondent and quash the same and consequently to direct the Respondents to consider the petitioner for appointment on compassionate ground to any post including any entry level post.

2. The impugned order is the rejection of the petitioner's request for consideration for compassionate appointment, which was sought upon the death of his father, who was employed as a sweeper in the third 2/5

respondent's Municipality. The request was rejected on the ground that there was no sweeper post.

3. Considering the claim, the reason for rejection goes against the object of the policy for grant of compassionate appointment

4. In such view of the matter, the impugned order is set aside and the first respondent is directed to consider the claim of the petitioner for compassionate appointment in any other suitable vacancy that is available in the department. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No Costs.
