ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondent to return the jewels seized by the officers of the respondent on 29.10.2024 from the petitioner's shop, namely, Balaji Jewellary at Illupur, Pudukkottai District, to the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court.

3. Without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the petitioner is directed to submit a representation before the respondent seeking for the aforesaid relief. On receipt of the same, the respondent is directed to conduct enquiry on the representation submitted by the 2/4

petitioner, after giving opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
