PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent nos. 2 and 3 to survey and marked four boundaries of the petitioners property situated in Survey No. 119/10B in Vellanur Village, Kulathur Taluk, Pudukkottai District with an extent of 44 cents by considering the petitioner's application dated 07.08.2025 within a time period stipulated by this Court. ORDER

After submitting an application dated 07.08.2025 for the survey of the land in survey No.119/10B, the present writ petition has been filed. 2.Learned Counsel for the petitioner relies on sale deed dated 25.02.2002 and proceedings dated 04.07.2025 of the District Revenue Officer Pudukottai. He contends that the sixth respondent is raising untenable objections in spite of the order of the District Revenue Officer, Pudukottai. 2/5

3.Learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of respondents 1 to 3 and 5 and learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of respondent 4. He submits that the application would be acted upon within 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.Both sale deed dated 25.02.2002 and patta No.1679 reflect the name of the petitioner. The District Revenue Officer's order also indicates that the petitioner succeeded in proceedings against the sixth respondent. In such circumstances, the petitioner has made out the case for consideration of the application. While considering such application, it is, however, necessary to put the sixth respondent on notice.

5.Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of by directing the second and the third respondent to consider application dated 07.08.2025 after putting the petitioner and the sixth respondent on notice. The entire exercise shall be completed within 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. During the survey, if any, if necessary, the jurisdictional police authority shall extend protection. No costs.
