This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 1st respondent to appoint B.Mohan, Advocate Ms.No. 354/1979 as Special Public Prosecutor in S.C.No. 68/2018 on the file of the II-Additional District Court, Tirunelveli in connection with the Crime No. 30 of 2018 on the file of the Medical College Police Station, Tirunelveli City based on the petitioner's representation dated 09.09.2024. 2/5

2.After elaborate arguments, the learned Counsel for the petitioner fairly concedes that now the case has been transferred to learned III Additional District Judge, Madurai and pending in Spl.S.C.No.9 of 2025. 3.Therefore, the petitioner is at liberty to send a fresh representation to the District Collector, Madurai for appointment of Special Public Prosecutor. The District Collector Madurai is directed to consider the petitioner's representation and take appropriate decision, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of the petitioner's representation, in accordance with law.
