Heard both sides.

2.The grievance of the petitioner is that the compensation for the acquired land has not been paid. The land stood in the name of one Govindarajan. He is no more. Notice has to be issued to all the legal heirs. They shall appear either in person or through authorised representative before the second respondent. The award copy shall also be served on the legal heirs. The legal heirs can receive the award amount without prejudice to their claim to seek enhanced compensation. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 3.This writ petition is disposed of.
