ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondent to complete the investigation in Crime No.285 of 2021, within a time frame as fixed by this Court and file Charge sheet. 1/4

2.The petitioner is the defacto complainant in Crime No.285 of 2021 which was registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 294(b), 323 and 506(ii) of IPC and Section 4 of TNPHW Act, 2002. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that even after lapse of one year, the investigation has not been completed.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent would submit that investigation has been completed and after completing the formalities, the final report will be filed before the concerned Court, within a month.

4.Recording the submission and accepting the request made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, there shall be a direction to the respondent to file the final report before the concerned Court within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. After filing final report before the concerned court, compliance report must be submitted to the Registry.
