For Petitioner : Mr.R.Narayanan

ORDER

This civil revision petition has been filed seeking direction to the District Munsif, Madurai Taluk to dispose the case in RCOP.No.5 of 2018 within a time frame.

2.It is seen from B-Diary that a petition filed under Section 11 of the Rent Control Act is pending from 28.06.2023 and the same is shown as reason for pendency of the above said RCOP petition till now. 1/4

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the respondent has filed application after application to reopen and recall. But a perusal of B-Diary reveals that the trial was not completed because of the pendency of the petition filed by the petitioner under Section 11 of the Rent Control Act.

5.Considering the fact that the rent control original petition is pending from the year 2016, the District Munsif, Madurai Taluk is directed to dispose the petition filed under Section 11 of the Rent Control Act, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and dispose the main RCOP.No.5 of 2018, within a period of three months, thereafter.
