ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents herein to grant permission and to provide adequate police protection to conduct the "Bullock cart Race" on 01.12.2024 at about 7.00 am., at Karaiyar Puduvalavur, Thiruppathur to Singampunari Salai( Near Sivan Kovil) by considering the petitioner's representation dated 06.11.2024.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Thirupathur by proceeding No.11/2024 dated 14.11.2024 had rejected the representation of the petitioner stating that the petitioner has no fulfilled with the condition required for conducting "Bullock cart Race". Further the event is said to have taken place in the highways which cannot be permitted, hence had rejected the same. A copy of the rejection order was served on the petitioner on 14.11.2024.

3. Today a photostat copy of the rejection order is also served on the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.

4. In view of the same, the Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs.
