ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to follow due process of law with regard to enhancement of monthly rent of shops situated at Integrated Vegetable Market, Mattuthavani, Madurai, insisting to pay additional amount of Rs.2,00,000/- along with monthly rents, including deduction of already collected arrears rental amount and Corona period concession.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is brought to the notice of this Court that this matter has already been taken cognizance by this Court in WP(MD)No.28512 of 2024 and an order has also been passed in favour of the petitioner directing him to pay the entire arrears of rent and on such payment of the same, directed the respondent Corporation to remove the lock and seal.

3. It is needless to state that incase the authorities prefer to enhance the rent, the monthly rent of the shops situated at Integrated Vegetable Market, Mattuthavani, Madurai, would be fixed in accordance with law. 2/4
