PRAYER: This Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to transfer investigation of the case in Cr.No.352 of 2019 pending on the file of the 7th respondent police to any other independent agency or C.B.C.I.D., officer under the direct supervision of the 6th respondent and further to file final report in the said case within a reasonable time period to be fixed by this Court.

O R D E R

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed to transfer the investigation in Cr.No.352 of 2019 pending on the file of the 7th respondent police to any other independent agency or C.B.C.I.D., officer under the direct supervision of the 6th respondent and further to file final report in the said case within a reasonable time period to be fixed by this Court.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that the respondent police have completed the investigation in Crime No.352 of 2019 and they have also filed final report before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Kodaikanal, on 08.01.2020.

3. In view of the above, the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
