JUDGMENT

[Judgment of the Court was delivered by D.KRISHNAKUMAR, J.] Seeking revocation of the suspension order dated 04.08.2021 and a direction to the officials to pay the subsistence allowance, the writ petitioner had filed the writ petition. The said writ petition was allowed with a direction to the authorities concerned to revoke suspension order and to pay the subsistence allowance. Challenging the same, the Department has preferred this appeal. 2.Today when the writ appeal is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Advocate General submits that the suspension order had been revoked and the issue regarding payment of subsistence allowance will be considered.

3.Considering the above submission, the writ petitioner/respondent herein is directed to make a representation before the appellants seeking payment of subsistence allowance forthwith. The appellants shall consider and pass orders on the same on its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of representation from the petitioner.

4.With the above direction, this writ appeal is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. [D.K.K., J.] & [R.V., J.] 13.03.2024 NCC :
